The ride request form

Everything you type into the form stays in your own browser. There is no database behind it and nothing is submitted anywhere.

When you press Text this request, your phone’s own messaging app opens with the details already written out, addressed to our scheduling line. You still press send yourself, and the message travels as an ordinary text through your mobile carrier. Copy the details simply puts the same text on your clipboard.

If you close the page without sending, nothing is kept. Reloading the page clears the form.

What our web host can see

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, it records standard request logs: your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser type, and the time. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to block abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Fonts loaded from Google

The page’s typefaces are served by Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when the page loads, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not send Google anything else, and we receive nothing back about you. Google describes its handling of those requests in its own privacy policy.

Information you give us directly

When you call or text to book a ride, you tell us the things we need in order to drive you: your name, a phone number, the pickup and destination addresses, the date and time, and anything about the trip we should know in advance, such as whether someone is riding with you or there are stairs at the door.

We use that information to schedule and provide the ride, and to reach you if plans change. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. We may share what is necessary with a facility you have asked us to coordinate with, such as confirming a pickup time with a clinic’s front desk.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them through it.

Your choices

Because the site collects nothing, there is nothing on it to opt out of. For information you have given us by phone or text, you can ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call and ask for Bill.

Changes to this policy

If this changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no mailing list, so please check back here if it matters to you.
